One thousand residents from Bataan’s first district recently benefited from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program through the initiative of Board Member Tony Roman.
Each recipient received P3,000 during a payout held at the Orani Multi-Purpose Gym on Friday. The beneficiaries included barangay health workers, nutrition scholars, and daycare workers. Board Member Roman expressed his deep gratitude to Senators Pia and Alan Peter Cayetano for their continued support, which enabled the DSWD program be conducted in the district. Senator Pia Cayetano had previously funded free Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) courses for 67 scholars from the district. Local residents have expressed their appreciation for the support and commitment of Cayetano siblings. Roman continuously reaches out to government officials and agencies to get more assistance for the residents of Bataan’s first district.
